Großsölk is located in the west of Styria and lies to the south of the Styrian Enns Valley. The nature park municipality is divided into the districts of Stein/Enns, Gatschberg and Großsölk. The four neighboring communities are Kleinsölk, St. Nikolai im Sölktal, Öblarn and Mitterberg. Together with Kleinsölk and St. Nikolai im Sölktal, Großsölk forms the Sölktäler Nature Park.
