It’s a long-standing tradition here: artists feel right at home, and anyone who’d like to can follow in their footsteps through the Aussee countryside via the Via Artis.

Quite apart from that, it would be a real shame to limit your vacation in Bad Aussee to the summer. The mountain spring and the clear, crisp winter season are just as much a part of it.

The year is actually incomplete without the Daffodil Festival, and once autumn has arrived, you can look forward to plenty of sunshine while hiking and forget about the fog. It’s always lovely to explore Bad Aussee step by step, along the banks of the Traun, through the *Kurpark*—where salt pans once steamed—or through the shopping streets, where local diversity triumphs over international monotony.
