Under the castle, by the picturesque stream running through the gorge, stands the Parish Church of St. Lawrence. The present function of the central settlement is supplemented with numerous trading activities, central primary school and kindergarden, medical centre with pharmacy, post office, bank and the role of the municipality and tourist centre.
The spa centre Terme Olimia is located in the immediate vicinity of the nucleus of the settlement.
