On some days, paragliders offer a colourful picture in the sky - brave guests can explore Gaal from a bird's eye view on a tandem flight.
With a wide range of active activities in summer such as archery, climbing and cycling or relaxation at the 3000 m² natural bathing pond and in winter with skiing, touring, cross-country skiing, ice climbing, ice fishing and tobogganing, Gaal is an extremely attractive holiday destination.
In autumn, the young animals return at home at the traditional Gaaler Almabtrieb, accompanied by living customs.
Crown Prince Rudolf once indulged his passion for hunting and hiking here. Poet Ottokar from Gaal wrote his famous rhyming chronicle in the 13th century, inspired by the unique nature.
