Bellamonte ist ein Ortsteil von Predazzo der auf einer sonnigen Terrasse liegt, und von den Dolomiten der Palagruppe und der Bergkette des Lagorai umrahmt wird.
Im Winter ist der Ort günstiger Ausganspunkt ins Skigebiet Bellamonte - Alpe Lusia.
Auch im Sommer zieht es viele Touristen hierher. Viele Wanderwege, Lehrpfade führen durch den Naturpark Paneveggio und in die umliegenden Berge.
