Weiler liegt zwischen Dornbirn und Feldkirch im Rheintal. Es ist ein gemütliches, grünes Dorf. Zu sehen gibt es in Weiler die Überreste der Burg „Altmontfort“, die 1260 erstmals erwähnt und im Appenzeller Krieg zerstört wurde.
