An den Berghängen des Biokovo-Gebirges, unmittelbar oberhalb von Gornja Podgora, wurde 1962 das Denkmal Möwenflügel (Spomenik Galebova krila) zur Erinnerung an die 20 Jahre zuvor in Podgora durch die Partisanen gegründete Kriegsmarine errichtet. Der gebrochene Flügel versinnbildlicht die im Befreiungskampf gefallenen Matrosen und der aufrecht stehende den Weg zum Sieg.
