Bormio Ski: slopes that take you to heaven above 3,000 meters and a vertical drop of 1,800 meters are waiting for you.
The alpine resort, defined as The Vertical Fun, is going to put on display lots of new highlights.
Bormio Ski: a company founded back in 1966. Over the years we have annually hosted the World Cup Downhill and we have been the house of the Alpine Ski World Cup in 1985 and 2005.
Bormio Ski is in Northern Italy, in the region Lombardia, in the heart of the Italian Alps. Our company runs a ski area with 50 km of slopes served by functional and modern lifts.
Bormio is currently able to satisfy both the demanding skier with competitive level slopes like the Stelvio – World Cup capital of Men Downhill – and the rookie with pistes of medium difficulty and training camps.
The vertical drop of the ski area is absolutely stunning. Bormio Ski is The Vertical Fun: a 1,800 m-nosedive from Cima Bianca (3,017 m) to Bormio (1,200 m).
In addition, making snow is our passion: the modern artificial snow system is ready to start at any time to guarantee snow on 80 % of the slopes! In 2005 Bormio Ski hosted the Alpine Ski World Cup and for the first time in the history of skiing all the races were run on artificial snow only.
At Bormio Ski the offer is so rich: you go from the super extreme activities to the entertainment for families and children.
If you are searching for action, don’t misss our two freeride spots – Vallone and Skiers’ Spot – of great satisfaction and one freestyle area – Snowpark Bormio – where riders fly and have fun in total safety.
For an unfergettable experience, we’d like to suggest a peculiar activity like paragliding: an expert pilot will make you try the pleasure of soaring in the air with a gentle take off with skis or snowboard on from 2,600 meters.
For everyone’s entertainment, we have one big attraction that’s called Funslope: big waves of snow, banked turns and gloomy-chilly tunnels. For the little ones, in Bormio, you find the Trudi Park, the ideal place for your kids to go sledding or to start off with their first skiing experiences.
