Hike from Heididorf to Heidialp

Our hike up to the Ochsenberg, better known as Heidialp, begins in Heididorf. The first few metres are a little steeper, then it continues with a steady, pleasant incline up to the alp. There are rest areas and barbecue sites along the way. On the Heidialp is the hut where Heidi lived very happily with her grandfather, the Alpöhi. The hut is still inhabited by the shepherd who herds the cattle on the alp and offers visitors regional delicacies.
