Highrope Course Gerlos

Map
Hide map

Experience the newly extended high ropes course with a total of 65 stations including 17 flying foxes and 8 kids’ lines (obstacles for children).

After some introductory training, you can start your adventure and put your courage and skills to the test. The high ropes course is a series of obstacles attached to trees at heights of 10 to 15 metres. It is like an obstacle course with ropes, wires and trees.

A special course with 8 child-friendly sections has been set up for young visitors with a great variety of activities. Children who are 105 cm or taller can explore the course with their parents, having fun – and developing their sense of balance while they’re at it – at heights of 5 metres.

Safety for children with the Smart Belay. One carabiner detects if the other is open and, if the equipment is used correctly, it blocks the opening mechanism until the first carabiner is clipped back onto the safety wire and engaged again. Provided Smart Belay is used properly, it is therefore practically impossible to accidentally completely disengage from the safety wire.
