Description: A 5-hour hike with more than 1'600m of ascent through forests, meadows, screes and along the glacier to finish!
Directions: After a climb up to La Breya, take the path that runs along the slope (somewhat aerial on the first section). Then follow the moraine of the Orny glacier to the hut of the same name. To reach the Trient hut, the path continues along the glacier and then twists and turns on the last section. Enjoy the magnificent view of the Trient plateau and the Mont-Blanc Massif.

Equipment: Walking shoes, sticks.
Tips: By taking the Breya chairlift, you will save 2 hours of walking.
Directions: Exit the motorway at Martigny. Follow the direction Grand-Saint-Bernard then leave the main road at Orsières and follow Champex-Lac.
It is also possible to leave the main road at Bovernier and go through Les Valettes but the road is narrow and very winding.
Public transportation: Take the train to Orsières and then the bus to Champex-télé. Consult timetables on www.cff.ch
Parking: Large free car park at the foot of the chairlift.
