Brief description: This walk takes you through some very beautiful countryside, enhanced by pines and leafy trees. The end of the Bisse Neuf and the beginning of the Bisse de Varen are located at Valais' linguistic border. This border is geographically marked by the Raspille.

Tips: From Crans-Montana, jump on an SMC bus - direction Mollens. Get off at the bus stop "Rétana", just after Mollens village. From there, follow the signs and you will wander through prairies and forests all the way to Varen. You can return by bus.

Directions: To reach Venthône by car, take the A9 motorway (Rhône motorway) exit called "Sierre Est". At the motorway exit, continue straight ahead.
At the roundabout, follow the signs "Sierre/Crans-Montana" and then continue to the village of Venthône.

Once in Venthône, follow the signs to the car park.

The journey takes about 5 minutes from Sierre "Est".
Public transportation: The village of Venthône is easily accessible from Sierre station or from Crans-Montana with the SMC bus company (line 422). The nearest stop to the start of this hike is: «Venthône, village».
It is also accessible by funicular from Crans-Montana or Sierre, the stop is called "Venthône".
