Description

A very easily accessible run from the top of the Sorebois lift. With good snow conditions the slope down to the Lac de Moiry can be a great experience. Once past the dam the route follows what is the road in summer for the most part back to Grimentz.

Directions
From the top of the lift take the pist southwards for about 200m, then leave the piste to the left at the pass "Col de Sorebois". The top of the descent is between 30-35deg at the flattest section. Directly from the pass drop west and drop approximately 200m before veering South West and descending directly to the east side of the dam.

At the dam either go through the road tunnel (if open) and descend the road or cross the dam and ski down the west side of the dam staying close to the wall. Both options will have you passing directly under or through terrain of ~45deg. This is a critical section of the route and conditions on the day should be carefully considered.

Once in the valley descend on the road past point 1980. Shortly afterwards descend the east facing slope down to point 1810, cross the river and follow the road down to point 1599 and Grimentz. (Caution: The slope between point 1980 and 1810 is an avalanche run out area from the Sex de Marinada. There was significant debris in this area when we did this route.
