Umgang Hittisau

From the church square, an asphalt path between the “Krone” and “Hirschen” inns take you to “Rain”. There, keep to the rightat house no. 371, and you arrive at the mainstreet. Once there, you follow the yellow and-white marking to the right. After about100 m, the hiking path branches off to the left (gravel path), then you take a country path to the “Dorf” plot of land (board35.83). Here, you follow the signpost to the left towards “Bütscheln”. A narrow footpath follows the wooden fence as far as signpost35.26. Here, you turn to the right and follow the destination “Stöcken – Korlen”. This gravel path initially meanders uphill and leads to a country path which continues uphill and turns into an asphalt road in “Stöcken” (board 35.30). Follow this downhill towards Hittisau. Once you have reached the main street next to the “HotelSchiff”, take the pavement to the left. A short time later, you turn off to the left again in front of the "Kinderhaus" (Children's house) (house no. 343) towards the fire station and culture center. Take the stairs to the square in front of the Women’s Museum. After the "Schulen Hittisau" schools, a path takes you to a timber building, “Betreutes Wohnen”. Opposite, you take a footpath beside the cemetery wall back to the church square.
