- Description
-
The stream that runs through the village of Andelsbuch, known as the Brühlbach, has dug deep into the shale between Andelsbuch and Egg over the course of a very long time. That’s how the beautiful waterfalls were formed. The beech forest provides shade along the way. A geological zone exists around Andelsbuch that creates favourable conditions for beech trees to grow. That’s also indicated in the names of the village of Andelsbuch and the district of Bersbuch (‘Buche’ is German for ‘beech’).
