Römerhof winter circular hiking route

The Aschauer Sonnseit circuit starts at the Going bathing lake. From the car park, the groomed path leads to the Oberschattenriedhof, always with a view to the Kitzbüheler Horn.
From now on, follow the prepared winter hiking trail to the left (parallel to the Aschauerloipe) until you reach the Aschauerweg. Once there, turn right and hike southwards for about 50 meters  (parallel to the paved road) until you turn right again onto the winter hiking trail. Accompanied by the sun, you hike again through the district of Schattenried next to the Aschauer cross-country ski trail until you arrive at the bathing lake again. On the way back, you can make a stop and warm up at the Gasthaus Reischerwirt.

Heading from St. Johann on the B178 road, take the Going Prama exit immediately after passing the Stanglwirt hotel. When you reach the first junction, turn right in the direction of the bathing lake. Keep following the road and make another right turn towards the bathing lake after approx. 400 m. The car park is located on the right-hand side.
