From Sölden you walk towards the church and continue to Grünwald. From there you take the steep forest path towards Hochsölden to the Gampe Alm junction.
When you pass the Gampe Alm you keep south to the marked path, slightly ascending past the Hühnersteige to the Rettenbachalm.

Option 1: From Sölden past the church in the direction of Grünwald, from there on the steep forest path in the direction of Hochsölden to the Gampe Alm junction.
Continue via the Gampe Alm further south to the marked path, hiking past the Hühnersteige to the Rettenbachalm.
Option 2: Take the Gaislachkogelbahn to the middle station and from there via the Bartig Bödele (double-used route for bikers and hikers) to the Ötztaler Gletscherstrasse from there to the Rettenbachalm.
Option 3: From Hochsölden past the Gampe Alm over to the Hühnersteige to the Rettenbach Alm

The car drive to the Ötztal valley. Situated in Tirol, the Ötztal valley set off in southerly direction and is the longest side valley in the Eastern Alps. The journey with the car leads you through the Inntal valley to the entrance of the valley and further on through the valley. Among the toll motorways you can also use the country roads. Travel safe and comfortable with the train to the Ötztal Bahnhof train station. Last stop and exit point is the train station Ötztal Bahnhof. Afterwards you can travel smoothly and quick with the public transport or our local taxi companies through the valley to your desired destination.
