Braunschweiger hut 2758 m

From Mittelberg on a farmery road to the Gletscherstube (1891 m) broader to the lift of the Braunschweiger hut. After to a steep track on your left. After 1 hour you have to climb across cliffs, which are secured per catenerian. After 300 m you have to go through a passable couloir up to the way to the northern southern moraine. Then you walk in serpentines up to the Braunschweigerhütte 2758m. There you have a fantastic view to the Mittelbergferner. From the Braunschweiger hut you are able to go over the Mittelbergferner to the Pitztaler glacier mountain railway. The way takes 1,5 hour and you can drive with the pitztaler glacier mountain railway back into the valley.
