Difficulty: 2 pitches VII+, otherwise VI- to VII-
.The name is meant ironically. The „Almost like in the hall“ has a total of six pitches üngen over 130 climbing metres. Crack climbing characterises the route. The first and last pitches are the two most difficult pitches with VII+. At the top it is quite exposed, especially the free abseiling. The 2nd pitch unfortunately runs a bit in the forest. However, you should not be deterred by this, as it continues beautifully straight after.
Note: The needles of the spruce trees standing on Bändern are deposited in cracks and holds. Every climber should please clean the rock for 2 minutes per day that he spends there, so that the tours remain well climbable. A small tool is available at the foot of the wall. Thank you very much.
- Directions
-
Access: (approx. 20 min)
.From the inn in Au in the Zillergrund, follow the road up two hairpin bends. At the second bend, turn left at the concrete road wall and follow the meadow up to the forest. Small yellow dots on rocks indicate the path, which leads steeply through the forest. You can already see the wall well below from the inn. The „Almost like in the hall“ is the ninth route from the left. Next to it on the left is the „Pickel aus dem Sack“ (VII) and next to it on the right is the „Eierschwammerlsackerl“ (VIII-/VIII). Some of the routes are posted on the rock.
Caution: The GPX track is not an expired track, but was freely routed with the aerial photo as reference. I.e. the start of the route and the climbing route itself (trail type: pathless) are not exact and are only intended to give an approximate idea.
