Telfes in summer
With its wonderful southern exposure, the village of Telfes with its 1,500 inhabitants offers everything that makes holidays in the Stubaital a special pleasure. Tennis camp, indoor and outdoor pool with sauna or the predatory bird park are only some of the numerous leisure facilities. A walk along the beautiful Telfer Wiesn with the incomparable larch forests is a must when spending your summer holidays in the Stubai!
With the Schlick 2000, active holiday-makers find a real paradise nearby. In the Kalkkögel, the “Dolomites of Northern Tyrol”, walking, mountain hiking or climbing are a real pleasure. The panorama with its rugged summits and the view over the Stubai and Inn valley is charming.
In 1990, 1996 and 2014 Telfes was the venue of the mountain running world championship, and 2009 venue of the mountain run European championship, always within the context of the annual Schlicker Almlauf.

Paragliders and hang-gliders leave their everyday life behind when flying off from the Mountain Station of the Schlick 2000.
A special experience is the nostalgic trip with the traditional Stubaitalbahn into Innsbruck. In the nearby state capital, many cultural points of interest await visitors.
