Summer experience on the Tauplitzalm
Our two beautiful self-catering huts are located on the largest lake plateau in Central Europe, on the Tauplitzalm, at about 1,650 m above sea level.
Both huts are equipped for up to eight people.
They are located below the mountain station of the 4-seater chairlift and are a good starting point for many hikes and mountain tours.
For climbers, there is the Klettersteig Gamsblick on the Traweng nearby.
From about mid-June to early September, the young animals are on the alpine pasture, which like to walk by in the morning or evening.
The arrival is from Bad Mitterndorf via the 10 km long toll alpine road. With the car one may drive up to the hut.

Beheizt wird die Hütte mit Gas.
Gaskosten werden je nach Verbrauch verrechnet!
Die Zufahrt zu den Hütten erfolgt von Bad Mitterndorf aus über die mautpflichtige Tauplitzalm Alpenstraße. Die aktuellen Mautgebühren findet man unter: alpenstrasse.at/panoramastrasse/mautt...
Im Sommer kann man mit dem Auto bis zur Unterkunft zufahren.
Im Winter muss das Auto am großen Parkplatz auf der Tauplitzalm stehen gelassen werden. Dafür wird eine Nachtparkgebühr kassiert. alpenstrasse.at/panoramastrasse/nacht...
Man wird vom Parkplatz mit dem Skidoo abgeholt und zur Hütte gebracht.
