The natural history tour at Wolfsthurn Castle starts opposite the parish church in Mareta (1,035m; signposted) and leads below the castle mound at Mareiter Bach brrok on the orographic right side of the Achenrainschlucht gorge northward through an untouched natural forest. A variety of natural history stops along the way bring visitors closer to nature. After a tour in the forest north of Wolfsthurn Castle the tour continues to the castle pond. On trail. 9 go past the west side of the castle, back to the starting point in the center of town.
