The Padastertal Panorama Trail leads in a loop once around the largest excavated earth dump of the Brenner Base Tunnel in the Padastertal and offers a lot of information and great views of the construction site.

The circular trail starts directly behind the Häuslerhof snack station or a little before the Wendelin Chapel in the Siegreith district of Steinach - you can walk the trail in either direction. However, the less strenuous ascent from Häuslerhof is recommended. First you walk uphill until you reach the moated castle after about 10 minutes via a hiking trail and a path. There you will find an overview board. Follow the well-signposted path past information boards and through a water tunnel until you reach the end of the Padastertal valley. There the trail branches off further upwards to the Seaper Alm. On the south side of the panorama trail, you return to the starting point via a panorama staircase and a viewing platform.

Walking time for the entire round is approx. 2 hours.

The trail is only open in summer.
