Experience unforgettable hikes in the enchanting landscape of the snow-covered Enns Valley and enjoy the soothing murmur of the Enns River. Cleared winter hiking trails lead from the village Haus (e.g. starting at the hotel Herrschaftstaverne or Erlebnisfreibad Haus) over the suspension bridge to Weißenbach (or vice versa) and back again.

Starting at Markt Haus, the hike leads past the Haus outdoor adventure pool to the Enns. Cross the river over the suspension bridge and then head east to Weißenbach. Let the village of Weißenbach take effect on you and then return in the direction of Haus im Ennstal, until you reach the large bridge over the Enns River. After crossing the bridge, turn right in the direction of the sports field and from there back to the outdoor adventure pool and back to Haus.

Safety on the mountainside: changes in the weather, sudden fall in temperature, thunder storms, wind, fog and snow fields are all objective dangers and require the correct behaviour whilst underway. the landlords of the huts are all very knowledgeable about the mountains and can give you good tips about the weather and the routes. Insufficient equipment, exaggerated opinion of ones capabilities, frivolousness, poor health condition and a false evaluation of the situation can lead to a critical situation. In thunder storms: summits, crest-sites and safety rope aids are to be avoided.
