A top highlight is the Dürnberger Moor. It radiates an idiosyncratic charm and mysterious orginality. As witness of the ige age, the moor invites to a voyage of discovery and gives the visitor insights into its sensitive habitat. Rare animals and plants, such as the carnivorous sundew, habe their home here.

The Podolerteich is hidden in the middle of the forest. In the quiet water surface the high spruces andn laches are reflected, which make this place look like in a fairy. Especially for families this bathing pond ist a very special attraction.

Arrival from Germany
From Munich via the A8 in the direction of Salzburg. From Salzburg on the A10 Tauern freeway to St. Michael im Lungau. Take the B97 to Tamsweg, then continue on the B95 to Predlitz. The B97 leads via Stadl an der Mur and Murau to Teufenbach. There turn right in the direction of Neumarkt. Pass the train station Mariahof and take the 2nd exit to Vockenberg. In Vockenberg keep right towards Oberdorf.

 

Arrival from Oberösterreich/Hungary
At the freeway junction in St. Michael bei Leoben take the S36 towards Klagenfurt. Pass Knittelfeld and Judenburg to Scheifling. In Scheifling turn right towards Murau. In Teufenbach turn left torwards Neumarkt. Pass the train station Mariahof and take the 2nd exit to Vockenberg. In Vockenberg keep right towards Oberdorf.

 

Arrival from Italy
Via Klagenfurt on the S37 past St. Veit an der Glan, Treibach and Friesach. In Friesach continue in the direction of Vienna, via Dürnstein and Wildbad Einöd to Neumarkt. In Neumarlt continue in the direction of Mariahof and Furtner Teich. Pass de Furtnerteich in the direction of Vockenberg. After the restaurant zur Linde turn left to Oberdorf.
