- Description
-
Starting from Almgasthaus Kapitel - the name giver of this hiking tour - we hike to the Brendl and over the Tiefsattel and the Halterhütte Kühberger back again.
We hike parts of the Gleinalm and experience beautiful and idyllic alpine pastures. Especially the Brendl is worth a visit: Here we not only enjoy the wonderful view but we can also marvel at the Lipizzaner young mares, which spend their alpine freshness here from mid-June to mid-September.
At the same time, the source of the Kainach is also located near the Brendl-Stadl.
The Kainach is one of the largest rivers in the Lipizzaner region. It is about 64 km long, rises here on the Brendl in the Gleinalm area and flows into the Mur near Wildon.
