- Description

The Probst is a quiet forest and meadow area on a mountain and hillside location and adjoins the municipality of Murau on the Laßnitzbach/St. Egidi. The Probst is primarily home to mountain farmers and forestry, and numerous drinking water sources also originate from it.
Via the Probst you first go uphill and then downhill again to Laßnitz near Murau or via Karchau and St. Blase to the monastery town of St. Lambrecht. However, on the small Probstrunde you stay away from these towns and enjoy the quiet natural landscape at an altitude of over 1,000 m.
If you're looking for a place to cool off after assessing the Probst, take a short detour to the leisure pond in the Styrian Laßnitz.
