Go through the centre of Wildalpen until you reach the
Here we stay left and ride over the Hühnermauer.
After a rapid descent, turn left towards Fachwerk along the Lassingbachgraben to Fachwerk and back to Wildalpen along the main road.

Through the centre of Wildalpen, after the church, we turn left and cross the Salza. Continue to Hopfgarten, always keeping left, past Astrid's Jausenstation and through the aqueduct of the Wiener Hochwasserleitung. At the Krumpenalm junction, we stay left and ride over the Hühnermauer. After a rapid descent, turn left towards Fachwerk along the Lassingbachgraben to Fachwerk and along the main road back to Wildalpen.

A first aid kit belongs in the rucksack as well as the mobile phone (Euro emergency call 112), a repair kit, warm clothing, rain protection, light and enough food and drink. Gloves and goggles protect hands and eyes. Maps or GPS are valuable orientation aids. Always wear a helmet uphill and downhill!

From Vienna: A1 Westautobahn exit Ybbs via Wieselburg, Scheibbs and Lunz/See to Göstling an der Ybbs continue in the direction of Palfau, at the Erzhalden junction turn off to Wildalpen.
From Vienna, Eisenstadt: Semmeringschnellstraße S6, near Mürzzuschlag onto the B23 Mariazeller Bundesstrasse and Mürzsteg and Wegscheid to Gusswerk and on the Hochschwab Landesstrasse B24 to Wildalpen.
From Linz: A1 to Voralpenkreuz junction, A9 to Windischgarsten, Unterlaussa, Altenmarkt, Grossreifling, Palfau and Wildalpen
From Salzburg: A1 on A9 to exit Ardning/Admont, Gesäusebundesstrasse and B24 to Wildalpen
From Graz: A9 Pyhrnautobahn, exit, Traboch (near Leoben) via Präbichl/Eisenerz, Hieflau, Landl, Gams to Palfau at the Erzhalden junction turn off for Wildalpen
