The Rastlandradweg connects the Ennsradweg R7 with the Murradweg R2 and leads through two stream valleys, the Paltental, which lies in the Gesäuse region, and the Liesingtal, in the ERZBERG LEOBEN region. The cycle path starts in Selzthal and leads along a side road with little traffic to St.Michael.
The cycle path leads us from Selzthal, through which the Ennsradweg R7 also runs, in a southerly direction through the Palten and Liesing valleys. The cycle path is mostly on side roads and separate cycle paths, as well as through the village centres.
Until Wald am Schoberpaß,the gateway to the Liesingtal, the route is partly uphill, therfore cyclists need to be in good shape.
From Wald am Schoberpaß onwards, the route follows the run of the Liesing, always slightly downhill, past the popular adventure excursion destination "Der Wilde Berg - Mautern", to the cycling hub of St. Michael in Upper Styria. The municipality of St. Michael lies directly on the popular Murradweg R2.
- Directions

The R15 Rastlandradweg connects the Ennsradweg R7 with the Murradweg R2. We cycle through two stream valleys. One is the Paltental, the other the Liesingtal. The cycle path starts at the Selzthal junction and follows its course on low-traffic country roads, but also on separate cycle paths.
After Rottenmann and Trieben, we head towards Gaishorn. Past the Gaishorn recreational lake, the route continues slightly uphill to Wald am Schoberpass. Here, too, the recreational lake Wald am Schoberpaß is a good place to cool off on a hot sunny day.
From Wald am Schoberpaß, the trail leads a short distance along the B116 - Schoberpaß federal road to Kalwang and Mautern. Two bathing lakes, as well as the Alpenbad Mautern along the route invite you to take a cool dip on hot days. For families but also for animal lovers, Wilder Berg Mautern is a highlight of the region. A stopover in Wahlfahrtskirche Mautern is certainly also well worth seeing.
Along the south side of the motorway we reach Kammern im Liesingtal. Now the route runs alongside meadows and fields to Traboch and on to St. Michael in Obersteiermark.
St. Michael in Obersteiermark is a cycling and transport hub and is also suitable for the Park+Ride options, as an entry point for the return journey to Selzthal or as a stopover before continuing cycling on the Murradweg R2.

- Safety instructions
-
Emergency call rescue: 144
Emergency reporting tip - give answers to six important questions:
What happened?
How many injured?
Where did the accident happen (possibly GPS coordinates)?
Who reported the accident (call-back number)?
When did the accident happen?
Weather at the accident site?
Be careful, there are also sections on gravel roads. In parts, the trail also leads over federal highways, so care is also required here.
