- Description

The Trailland Tour connects several top excursion destinations in the Joglland - Waldheimat region. From Wenigzell we first go to the trailland and then (with a short detour) to the wild meadow with the observation tower and the popular wild meadow hut. In addition, a large part of the route leads on the region's MTB route - the "Der grosse Jogl" tour. This is a special tip for everyone who hasn't had enough of biking yet, because there are 193 kilometers of cycling pleasure waiting for you!
- Directions
-
We start the Trail Land Tour at the village square in Wenigzell. Here we are already driving along the “Der grosse Jogl” route, so we can follow these signs until we reach the crossroads after the Kreuzwirt. In Wenigzell we drive past the parish church and the Joglland Oasis until we come to the local museum. Here we turn left and follow the path to the former Bergler Stub'n inn. Shortly afterwards we come to the well-known “Dead Man” crossroads. We keep left again and follow the path and the signs to the Spielhoferkreuz. Here we turn left again and continue until we reach the center of Miesenbach. In Miesenbach we can take a short break at one of the inns or cafes and fortify ourselves for the onward journey. At the parish church we turn left and then right at the third fork in the road. Now we drive towards the Hornschmied mill. There we turn right into a forest, at the end of this forest we continue to the Gasthof Wiesenhofer. The first bike park in Eastern Styria, Trailland, is also located here. We're about to test our riding skills on the various trails. We continue on and we still follow the signs “Der grosse Jogl”. Again we drive through several pieces of forest and come to the so-called Wolfgrube and then to Schlofferek (with a wonderful view of the neighboring region, the Pöllauer Tal). We now drive on the country road to the Kreuzwirt, where we turn left and follow the road, which leads us back to the “Toter Mann” intersection. From here the same route takes us back to our starting point in Wenigzell.
