This long-distance course is especially suitable for professional runners. The course is on asphalt and also on forest and meadow paths for a short distance. The route has a small incline and also offers a very beautiful panorama.
- Directions

From the start, the route first leads us slightly uphill along Landschaweg in the direction of Weizberg church to Feldlweg, past the grammar school into Keplergasse and then along Birkfelder Straße to Wegscheide.
Here we turn right in the direction of Krottendorf on a flat or slightly sloping route, past the Allmer inn to the centre of Krottendorf.
Now follow the Krottendorf main road southwards until you reach Regerstätten.
Here turn right towards Preding and follow the Lahnstraße.
East of the Elin in a northerly direction, 300 m later keep left towards Moarweg.
Follow Moarweg to Flurgasse and continue towards Marburger Straße, where we turn sharp left towards Greith.
After the Wachmann bakery, we turn right again into Raabgasse, which we follow to the top.
Now we head north into a beautiful stretch with a good view of the town.
After approx. 500 m we turn right to the Götzenbichlweg, over the hill straight towards Weiz.
Halfway down turn left into the forest and continue towards the main square.
Continue along Klammstraße and turn right after the Siemens.
Walk down Roseggergasse and finally along Dr.-Karl-Widdmann-Straße back to the starting point. - Highest point

The district capital of Weiz is located in eastern Styria and is very easy to reach via the A2 motorway from Vienna (approx. 2 hrs) and Graz (approx. 30 min).
- Arrival from Vienna and from Graz:
On the A2 coming from Vienna and from Graz, take motorway exit 161 / Gleisdorf West in the direction of B54/B64. Follow the B65 / Gleisdorfer Bundesstraße until you reach the B54 / Wechselbundesstraße. At the roundabout, take the second exit north to the B64 / Rechberg-Bundesstraße. After approx. 15 km you will reach the town of Weiz.
- From Graz via the main road: Take Kaiser-Franz-Josef-Kai and Wickenburggasse to Jahngasse / B67a. Follow the B72 to Weiz and take the exit towards Weiz -West.
