- Description
-
There are only a few houses on the Ellenbogen, so you can really speak of "pure nature" here. On this tour around Ellenbogen, you can enjoy the idyllic landscape and complete tranquillity. As you walk along the beach, you will see the Sylt ferry pass by on its way to Rømø and, if you are lucky, you may spot seals on the beach or in the water as well as migratory birds in the air. On this long tour around the Ellenbogen, you will also pass both lighthouses on the Ellenbogen. At the end of the tour, you will pass the surfing area at the King's Harbour, where you can watch the kite surfers jumping if the wind is good.
- Directions
-
We start from the car park past the white List-West beacon through the dunes to the west beach. Once there, we keep to the right and follow the coastline around the tip of the elbow. At the surfing area at Königshafen, we cross over into the interior of the Ellenbogen and take the direct route back to the car park.
