The farm, with your holiday hut and another alpine hut, is situated in an absolutely solitary location on the sunny side of Murau. The view from the old chairlift swing reaches far across the valley and straight to the Kreischberg – directly opposite.

Tina accompanies you to the quaint hut and introduces you to the history of this old Troadkasten which used to be a granary storehouse around 200 years ago, and therefore an important part of farming in the past.
The old hut was brought back to life with much of Christian’s skilled craftsmanship in 2003. Christian is passionate about woodworking.

*Old farm tools decorate the sunburnt timber inside and on the facade of the hut.

*door frames and doors of solid wood are typical for the region and radiate authentic, quaint charm.

A good night’s sleep between farm and mountain air is guaranteed!
The cosy bedrooms with solid-wood beds are accessed via a steep staircase to the first floor and a ladder leading to the second floor. The small typical peepholes with fantastic panoramic views are a popular photo subject.

*Tip: There is a cool go-kart track at the Kreischberg – not just for kids. Experience real nostalgia on a ride with the steam engine of the Murtal Railway.
