Description: Did you know, that there are about 120 different species of ants in Austria? that many of the local ants species are farmers? that the Queens lice to 15-20 years
No? Then there is nothing like the Ant Trail with over 200 ant hills!
Directions: Head right passing the Dientalm and take the path Nr. 75 towards the Tiergartenalm. A gentle hike takes yout ot the rustic alm at 1,540 height meters with a petting zoo and a beautiful sunny terrace offering comfort in beautiful surroundings. At the Dientalm, there is also a petting zoo and a big playground for kids. Daily from 4:00 p.m at the Dientalm is the "Open Barn Door Day"! (Summer season only)
