Description: At the entrance to Kaprun, the access road Einödweg branches off from the main road to the MK Maiskogelbahn.
After a few hundred meters you find on the left hand side the hiking path uphill towards Schaufelberg .

Back via Schaufelbergstraße to the starting point in Kaprun.
Directions: Walk through the underpass just after the MK Maiskogelbahn terminus and the Maisiflitzer, and follow the asphalted road - Einödweg, until you see yellow signposts on the left.
From there you walk along a pleasant forest path (trail number 39) uphill to the Schaufelberg/Maiskogel.

Take the Schaufelbergstraße and then the meadow path from the Unteraigen Jausen station back to the starting point in Kaprun.
