Hiking in the midst of wild, untouched nature is definitely possible on this hike across the Ennsalm area along to Benzeck. Even if you don't want to hike to the summit of Benzeck, the Ennsalmen are definitely a worthwhile hiking destination.

There are currently no refreshment stops at the Ennsalmen.

Directions

Hotel Wieseneck - path Nr. 735 - follow the forest road from Walchauhof to the "Untere Ennsalmen" - carry on to the "Obere Ennsalmen" (not open) - to the peak of Benzeck (2077m) - take the same route back

Tips

The Enns rises in Flachau at the foot of the Ennskraxn at 1,800 metres above sea level. Hence the name Ennsalmen.
