Description: This hike leads through woods and meadows into the beautiful Lackenalm area. The Lackenkogel offers a wonderful view over the "Ennstal". Those who don't want to hike to the peak of the Lackenkogel will also be rewarded by the picturesque Lackenalmen area.
Refreshment stops: Sattelbauer, Hinterkuchlberghütte
Directions: Berggasthof Sattelbauer - path Nr. 73 - along the track or the forest road to the Lackenalmen - follow the track to the peak of Lackenkogel (2051m) - return the same way

Mountain rescue number: The telephone number 140 is the emergency number for alpine accidents in Austria.
Tips: The Lackenalmen area is a very fertile and beautiful alpine pasture area, but there is no spring water up here, only four Lacken, hence the name Lackenalm.
