After starting in Zauchensee you walk along the lake. The path further leads along a forest path over seven hairpin bends up to the Strimsalmen. Further through the forest over the Sonnalm to the Oberzauchenseealmen. These are open in summer. Then across gentle meadows back to the starting point in Zauchensee.
- Directions

From the start point at the recreational area of Zauchensee, follow the asphalted Zauchensee road back for 500 m. At the end of the lake follow the forest track through the Strims forest up the Strimsalmen (mountain pastures). From here follow the track up to the Schlanningsattel curve. Then the path descends through the Oberzauchensee alms back to the start point.
