Grossarl: Sonnseitweg - Schattseitweg

You ascend on Sonnseitweg to the farm Stein, then continue on the forestry road to the farm Gerstreit and the farm Inhög. From here, a path (Sonnseitweg) leads to the farm Kolm and further on a forestry road to the farm Prommegg. Then you hike along the forestry road to the Grossellmau farm. Here you cross the road and follow the forestry road (Schattseitweg) on ​​the opposite side. Approximately at the first turn, you turn right and take the Schattseitweg to the hotel Lammwirt. Then take the road (=left) towards the farm Kasbrand and there straight ahead (= right) to the last farm (Palfen). From there, the path leads through meadows and some small forests out of the Ellmautal, until you finally reach the farm Thalgau. From here, you follow the street towards Grossarl until the sign "Europatisch", which is a cultural monument of the gilde scouts. Then you follow the path to Grossarl, where you pass the church of Grossarl.

Starting point is in the village center of Grossarl. You take the Marktstrasse until the Raiffeisenbank and turn right into the Sonnseitweg. From here, you follow the path no. 18 until you reach finally the village center of Grossarl again.
