- Description

Demanding ascent with almost 1,000 vertical meters. In the end you will be rewarded with one of the most beautiful alpine landscapes. Eating and drinkind is possible at mountain restaurant Mooserboden or at the alm hut before.
Back to the valley is the ride with buses and the largest open inclined lift in Europe possible.
- Directions
-
This route starts at the Kesselfall-Alpenhaus. Cross over the bridge approximately 50 m along the road and then bear left. The path no 31 ascends briefly and then joins the old Bergstrasse (mountain road) which will lead you to the valley station of the Lärchwand cable railway. Continue ascending in windings along the old “Alpenverein” mountain path, weaving across the line of the lift, to the top station.
From here, surefootedness and a head for heights are required, but you can also continue by bus.
Hikers follow the road here until, just before the first tunnel, a path branches off to the left, leading to the crest of the Limbergsperre dam.
After approximately 100 m leave the road and follow the path along the west side of the Limberg dam to the Fürthermoaralm. From here the path is marked as “Kräuterlehrpfad” (herb nature study path) and ends at the Bergrestaurant Mooserboden by the Mooserboden.
