With "only" 175 metres of altitude difference, the Saalachtalrunde leads from Unken along the Saalach to Reith and Lofer. The route continues through the market street of Lofer via Gasthof Hochmoos to St. Martin and back again on the other side of the valley - through Scheffsnoth, Au, past the Lenzenbauer to Reith. The last stretch is the same as at the beginning back to Unken.

Coming from Salzburg, after the Steinpass border crossing, turn right to Unken. Coming from Lofer/Zell am See, turn right to Unken before the Achberg tunnel. The start of the tour is at the municipal office in Unken.
