Go through the centre of Lofer along the Marktstraße until you reach the Hotel Lintner. Here you turn left to Gasthof Bad Hochmoos. Passing this, the trail leads you through the centre of St. Martin to the former Gasthof Luftenstein. Here you go through the subway to Strohwolln and along the Saalach to Scheffsnoth. Via the Wahpointweg you come to Au and back to Lofer. With only 80 metres of altitude difference, the tour is mostly flat and takes you around the valley of Lofer and St. Martin.

In addition to a water bottle, we recommend that you bring sturdy shoes, warm clothing and rain protection, a repair kit, first aid kit, mobile phone, light, gloves, sunglasses and something to eat. And of course, don't forget your helmet.

A short side trip to the Strohwollner Gorge (not accessible by bike) is worthwhile.

Take the B311 or B178 to Lofer, at the roundabout continue in the direction of Salzburg. 300 metres later you will find the Lofer car park (5090 Lofer, Lofer 310).
