The panoramic view of this tour is really impressive. Unique views of the Zeller Lake, which is embedded between the mountain massifs of the Kitzsteinhorn and the Schmittenhöhe, the local mountain of Zell am See.

In Thumersbach, at the chapel in the centre of the village, change to the Talstraße road and follow it into the valley until you reach the Mitterberg junction. Turn left and follow the winding road uphill to the Mitterberg mountain inn.
The way back is via the same route.
