- Description
-
A beautiful MTB tour for bikers with good physical condition. Right at the beginning there is a crisp climb over an asphalt road to Wildental. This is followed by a short flat section and the next mountain climb on the Möserwald forest road. After a detour to the Litzlalm, the tour continues over the Falleck to the Kallbrunnalm. Return via the Lohfeyer Inn, the "Goldener Zweig" and the Wildenbach Gorge to St. Martin.
- Directions
-
The starting point is the village centre of St. Martin bei Lofer. Continue along the village road to Luftenstein. Cross the main road and ride over the Saalach bridge to Wildental where the first climb begins. On the asphalt road, the tour takes you past the Mühlgrabenbauer to the barrier of the Möserwald forest road. From here you take a gravel path uphill past the Eibl Chapel to the Litzlalm snack station. To return, take the same route for the time being and turn right at the next junction to Hirschbichl. After a short descent along the Hirschbichl Landesstraße, you turn left and reach the Kallbrunnalm via the Jagdhaus Falleck. From here you will also return along the same route until you turn left onto the Hirschbichl Landesstraße. Continue to Gasthof Lohfeyer and then turn right over the Wandbauern and the Goldener Zweig. After the Mühlgraben Chapel, you will reach the Wildenbach Gorge and then return to St. Martin along the Tauern Cycle Path.
