This trail running route around Lake Ritzensee begins at the cross country stadium in Saalfelden. Follow the signage around the lake, then up the hill and finally back to the lake shore. You will be accompanied by a fantastic view onto the surrounding mountain ranges. Due to the little differences in altitude, this route is ideal for an short and easy training run with stunning panorama.

BY CAR
Drive on the Pinzgauer federal highway B311 from Zell am See to Saalfelden. When reaching the second roundabout, take a right in the direction of Maria Alm. Follow the road for 750 m through the town center. Take a righthand turn and cross a bridge towards Lake Ritzensee. Follow the road for 700 m until you reach the Hotel Ritzenhof on your right. The parking lot is located behind the Hotel Ritzenhof on the righthand side. The starting point of this tour is located a few metres from the parking lot.
