Description: Longish route to the Schwaiberg moorland and the district of Haid. Lots of contrast.
Directions: This trail running route begins at the cross country stadium in Saalfelden at Lake Ritzensee. Follow the signage along the road through the Kollingwald forest to Breitenbergham. Then return in a loop via Haid and Weikersbach to Breitenbergham and finally back through the Kollingwald forest to the starting point.
Highest point: 809 m
Endpoint: Ritzensee Saalfelden, Cross Country Stadium

Directions: BY CAR

Drive on the Pinzgauer federal highway B311 from Zell am See to Saalfelden. When reaching the second roundabout, take a right in the direction of Maria Alm. Follow the road for 750 m through the town center. Take a righthand turn and cross a bridge towards Lake Ritzensee. Follow the road for 700 m until you reach the Hotel Ritzenhof on your right. The parking lot is located behind the Hotel Ritzenhof on the righthand side. The starting point of this tour is located a few metres from the parking lot.

The starting point at the cross country stadium can be reached by bus from the city center of Saalfelden. The bus stop "Saalfelden Ritzensee" is located a few metres from the starting point of this tour.
Parking: The parking lot is located behind at Lake Ritzensee in Saalfelden behind the Hotel Ritzenhof on the righthand side.
