Eben-Hochgründeck-Runde (SW 61)

We start in the centre of Flachau along the Ennsradsweg in the direction of Eben. Past the sports field in Eben, the extensive, long climb begins. You should divide your strength well here. After about 18km of ascent, the steep final ascent begins up to the Hochgründeck, where a sensational view as well as refreshments on the terrace of the Heinrich Kiener House compensate for all exertions. The descent then follows down towards Wagrain and in a wide loop, on cycle paths throughout, back to Flachau. Altogether a demanding, breathtaking mountain bike tour.

Start at Flachau Tourism - past the minigolf course - follow the Ennsradweg/cycle path in the direction of Eben - underpass the highway - pass the sports field - follow the long, moderate ascent over forest roads up to the Hochgründeck - pass the Ginausattel and continue to the Heinrich-Kiener-Haus (refreshment stop!) - return over the same route to the Ginausattel - continue in the direction of the Lackenkapelle over asphalt & gravel paths to Wagrain - follow the cycle path in the direction of Flachau parallel to the main road.
