The Pinzgauer Hütte lodge, positioned 1,704 m above sea level, is a real insider tip amongst hikers, mountain climbers and cyclists. The position of this refuge in the middle of the Schmittenhöhe skiing and hiking region, surrounded by the beautiful Pinzgauer Grasberge mountains, is unique. The Kitzsteinhorn mountain seems to be just within your grasp!

From the starting point pass the church and turn right at the junction. From here follow the road via Wengerberg to the barrier and continue along the forest road to the Pinzgauer Hütte.
There are 2 options available for the way back:
1st option: via the same route back. 2nd option: via path no. 10D and Hochsonnberg Alm (10B) to Walchen and along the Tauern Cycle Path back to the starting point. - Highest point
