This exciting mountain bike tour takes you over the family-friendly Maiskogel mountain to the Maiskogel Alm Ranch, the highest point of the tour. From here, the descent follows the natural and relatively easy Bachler Trail, which is ideal for beginners.
- Directions

From the valley station of the MK Maiskogelbahn cable car, follow the cycle path through the tunnel to the junction with Schaufelbergstraße. Turn right here and follow the road uphill past the Unteraigen snack station towards Stangerbauer. About 100 m before Stangerbauer turn right and follow the signs to the Maiskogel Alm Ranch, the highest point of the tour. Now the descent into the valley begins: starting point is the Astenweg, Bachler Trail and via Schneckenbauer to the Aubrücke bridge. Turn left before the bridge and follow the Tauern Cycle Path back to the starting point.
