- Description
-
From the starting point in Flachau, go briefly along the Ennsradweg to the roundabout and then along the cycle path in the direction of Wagrain. In the center of Wagrain, turn left and follow the road to Kleinarl. At "Feuersang" you turn right, where the actual start and ascent on a forest road along the Saugraben begins. The route winds its way up through the forest and then turns south, you now ride up the valley parallel to the slope. The path becomes increasingly flatter, you can enjoy the panoramic forest path and let your gaze wander over the picturesque Kleinarl valley. After the ascent, a well-deserved stop at the Kurzeggalm is highly recommended! The way back to Kleinarl can be done either by taking the Hirschleit Trail downhill directly into the village, or by taking the easy way downhill to the south, reaching the valley floor at Hinterkleinarl and back to the village. The way back takes the same route. For fit bikers, the way back can be done from Wagrain via the Edelweißalm!
